- This goes very well served with gram flour dumplings in them - the kadhi imparts a tangy spiciness to the badi
- The main ingredients required for preparing Kadhi badi are yogurt, gram flour (Besan), asafetida, chili powder, fenugreek and cumin seeds
- The yogurt and gram flour is mixed together and is fried in oil tempered with cumin and asafetida, and is then cooked along with water
- Fried dumplings made of gram flour are added to the gravy. Kadhi badi is served hot along with rice or roti.
